Our story

From one kitchen table

Ember & Oak started at a kitchen table with one pot, one thermometer and too many failed wicks. Today every candle is still poured by hand, in small batches of twenty-four, from natural soy wax and cotton wicks. We cure each jar for two weeks so the scent fills the room evenly, and we sign every label before it ships.

Questions, answered

How long does one candle burn?

About 45 hours. On the first light, let the wax melt all the way to the edge (around 2 hours), and trim the wick to 5 mm before each burn for a clean, even flame.

Where do you ship, and what does it cost?

We ship across the US in 2–4 working days. Shipping is a flat $6, and free on orders of $60 or more. Every candle travels in a recycled kraft gift box.

What are the candles made of?

100% natural soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks and phthalate-free fragrance oils, in a reusable amber glass jar with an oak lid. No paraffin and no dyes.

How does ordering by email work?

Tap any order button and your email app opens with the candle already filled in. We reply within one working day with your total and a secure payment link.
